Chase for the Sprint Cup media tour hits F1 Race Factory

NASCAR fans are invited to take in a very special event at F1 Race Factory in Phoenix, as Kyle Busch, Carl Edwards, Tony Stewart and Jeff Gordon appear live via satellite from New York City to interact with fans and media to help kick off NASCAR's version of the playoffs - the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup. PIR hosts the semifinal race in the Chase: the Checker O'Reilly Auto Parts 500 Presented by Pennzoil.

As part of NASCAR's "Cut to the Chase" satellite media tour, fans can watch and interact with four of the sport’s top 12 drivers in their question-and-answer sessions shown from New York over the many televisions and video screens at F1 Race Factory, America’s Largest Indoor Kart and Racing Entertainment Venue.

Fans can submit questions for their favorite driver at the event, and the best questions will be asked during each driver’s designated interview time.

The schedule of drivers appearing on-screen at F1 Race Factory is as follows:

Driver Car Time
Kyle Busch No. 18 Toyota (currently 1st in points) 11:45 a.m.
Tony Stewart No. 20 Toyota (currently 8th in points) 12:00 p.m.
Jeff Gordon No. 24 Chevrolet (currently 10th in points) 12:15 p.m.
Carl Edwards No. 99 Ford (currently 2nd in points) 12:30 p.m.

F1 Race Factory is located at 317 S. 48th St. in Phoenix. The event takes place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and go-kart discounts will be available to those in attendance until 6 p.m.

Fans will have the chance to take the driver’s seat for themselves and take on the F1 Race Factory track in a go-kart simulation of the Chase for the Sprint Cup, with four races of 12 NASCAR driver-themed karts deciding a virtual series champion.

Also open for fans will be the PIR Pit Crew Challenge, where participants will have the chance to perform a pit stop against the clock on a PIR-branded race car. Fans can register for participation in the Chase simulation and the Pit Crew Challenge until 11:30 a.m.

Fans may purchase tickets for the November 9 Checker O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 Presented by Pennzoil at PIR - the Semi-Final race in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup.

Tickets for the November NASCAR event weekend at PIR can also be purchased online at www.racetickets.com or over the phone at 1-866-408-RACE (7223).
