Before making his first PIR start in the new-for-2008 No. 9 Budweiser Dodge, Kasey Kahne will headline the slate of driver appearances at the popular fan hospitality spot Raceway Club, located on the Midway at Phoenix International Raceway. Kahne will visit Raceway Club at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 12, just before the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series SUBWAY Fresh Fit 500™. Kahne will participate in a 15-minute question-and-answer session with PIR's loyal fans. Nationwide Series drivers Brad Keselowski and Landon Cassill step to the Raceway Club stage on Friday afternoon, with Keselowski appearing at 12:15 p.m. and Cassill following at 12:30 p.m. Both drivers will compete in the Bashas’ Supermarkets 200 that evening. Following the checkered flag of the Bashas’ Supermarkets 200, Robby Gordon will appear at Friday night’s fan festival "PIR After Dark," located on the PIR Midway Stage behind the Bobby Allison Grandstands. Across the track, Arizona native and Sprint Cup Series rookie Michael McDowell will kick things off in Trackside Club on Saturday with an appearance at 1:00 p.m., and he will be followed by fan favorite Kyle Petty at 1:30 p.m. More driver appearances may be announced in the coming weeks. Raceway Club offers race fans a premier hospitality experience. The first-class racing atmosphere includes complimentary food, beverage coupons, Raceway Club parking, entertainment and more. Individual Raceway Club tickets are $79 on Friday and $129 on Saturday and are separate from a grandstand ticket. Located just 50 feet away from the track and overlooking PIR’s backstretch, Trackside Club delivers unmatched views of the racing action, and a breathtaking look at the scenery of the surrounding desert from the outdoor terrace. Catered meals, pre-race pit passes, VIP parking, and commemorative race tickets are just the start of the experience at Trackside Club. Single tickets for a full weekend package are $699. Tickets to Raceway Club and Trackside Club are available online at www.phoenixraceway.com., or by calling 1-866-408-RACE (7223). Tickets for the April 12 SUBWAY Fresh Fit 500™ and all other events throughout the NASCAR event weekend at PIR are also available at www.racetickets.com.
The action doesn’t stop in April! The Chase for the Sprint Cup makes its return to PIR in November with the Checker Auto Parts 500 Presented by Pennzoil on Sunday, November 9.
