Hot laps on track among exclusive season ticket holder benefits
Phoenix International Raceway president Bryan R. Sperber recently announced an innovative new season ticket plan, set to begin immediately for the 2009 season's NASCAR events at the track. With just a non-refundable $50 deposit, race fans can move to the front of the field and secure season tickets for 2009, which will provide a number of special benefits to enhance the fan’s experience in the coming NASCAR season. PIR season ticket holders will be the first to know about upcoming track events by receiving press releases and special e-mail blasts before anyone else, and will be invited to PIR’s Season Ticket Holder Appreciation events throughout the NASCAR season. With ticket holders’ association in special track partner discount programs and access to special customer service assistance, the exclusive benefits for the track’s most devoted fans will last year-round. The lure for season ticket holders is not limited to the grandstands, however, as PIR will also provide hot laps around the mile oval to each 2009 season ticket account holder on the Saturday night of the November 2008 NASCAR event weekend. Season ticket holders will feel the rush enjoyed by NASCAR drivers each weekend as they ride at speed around the storied track on the eve of NASCAR’s Semi-Final race in the Chase for the Sprint Cup. "We are thrilled to be able to offer this exciting program for 2009," said Sperber. “Fans that join our season ticket family will have the opportunity to experience PIR in the midway, in the grandstands, and now...on the track.” Season ticket holders will see a discount off of the normal single ticket price, and will also be able to purchase additional tickets at the same rate after securing their status as a season purchaser. Season ticket packages start at $344 for seven events in 2009.
