Tickets remain for entertaining NASCAR experience
Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup competitors Carl Edwards and Kevin Harvick will appear in Phoenix International Raceway's hospitality areas for question-and-answer sessions with NASCAR fans just before the Checker O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 Presented by Pennzoil on Sunday, November 9. Edwards will appear at Trackside Club, located above PIR’s backstretch. With eight races remaining until a champion is crowned, Edwards leads the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series standings by 10 points over Jimmie Johnson and Greg Biffle. The driver of the No. 99 Ford sits second in series wins this season, with six. Harvick will take the stage at Raceway Club, located on the PIR Midway. With top-10 finishes in each of the last eight races, Harvick and the No. 29 Chevrolet team stand in fifth place in the Sprint Cup Series, just 101 points out of the lead. Harvick’s appearance is in conjunction with a special partnership between PIR, Kevin Harvick Inc., and the Veterans of Foreign Wars to celebrate Veterans Day weekend. A special ticket package is available for Friday’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race - the Lucas Oil 150 – in which KHI driver and defending series champion Ron Hornaday will drive the No. 33 Chevrolet with a special VFW scheme. Each driver will be scheduled to participate for 15 minutes. Appearance times will be confirmed in the coming weeks and announced on www.phoenixraceway.com, and more driver appearances will be announced soon. Located just 50 feet away from the track and overlooking PIR’s backstretch, Trackside Club delivers unmatched views of the racing action, and a breathtaking look at the scenery of the surrounding desert from the outdoor terrace. Catered meals, pre-race pit passes, VIP parking, and commemorative race tickets are just the start of the experience at Trackside Club. Full weekend packages are $699. Raceway Club offers race fans a premier hospitality experience. The first-class racing atmosphere includes complimentary food, beverage coupons, Raceway Club parking, entertainment and more. Individual Raceway Club tickets are $79 on Saturday and $129 on Sunday. Pricing does not include a grandstand ticket.
