Company to sponsor '09, '10 Truck events
Phoenix International Raceway president Bryan R. Sperber announced recently the extension of an existing partnership with Lucas Oil Products, Inc. for title sponsorship of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races at the track in 2009 and 2010. The green flag will drop on the 2009 Lucas Oil 150 on Friday, November 13. "We are very pleased and honored by Lucas Oil's commitment to renew its sponsorship of our NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race in November," said Sperber. "We look forward to working with the Lucas family and the great staff at Lucas Oil to present an exciting Lucas Oil 150 to the NASCAR fans of Phoenix." Founded in 1989 by Forrest and Charlotte Lucas, Lucas Oil Products, Inc. has established itself as one of the fastest-growing lubrication product lines in the consumer automotive aftermarket, featuring a line of engine oils, greases, gear lubes and problem-solving additives. Through innovative product research and development, along with aggressive marketing programs, Lucas Oil Products, Inc. has established itself as the number one selling fuel treatment and additive products manufacturer in America and Canada. Lucas Oil's partnership with PIR began in 2008 with title sponsorship of the Lucas Oil 150, won by Kevin Harvick. "We at Lucas Oil are delighted to extend our relationship with PIR. The 2008 event was exciting for the fans in attendance and the television coverage by SPEED was excellent. We are looking to build on that momentum in 2009 and 2010," said Bob Patison, Executive Vice President of Lucas Oil. Tickets are now available for the April NASCAR event weekend at Phoenix International Raceway, including competition in the NASCAR Camping World Series West, the NASCAR Nationwide Series, and the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.
