A full slate of hospitality appearances and new fan forum programs will be unveiled for NASCAR’s first Saturday night race of the season, highlighted by interactive events with three drivers currently ranked in the top 10 in the Sprint Cup Series standings: Kurt Busch (third), Kyle Busch (sixth) and Kasey Kahne (ninth). Kahne, driver of the No. 9 Budweiser Dodge, will be making multiple appearances at PIR to interact with race fans. On Friday, April 17, Kahne will appear at the Grand Opening of PIR’s brand new Budweiser ROLL-BAR from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. Additionally, Kahne will make a Saturday hospitality appearance in ROLL-BAR prior to pre-race ceremonies, with timing to be announced on www.phoenixraceway.com. Tickets to Budweiser ROLL-BAR are available for $89 on April 17 and for $139 on April 18. Additional purchase of a grandstand ticket is still required for track admission. Kyle Busch, who leads NASCAR with 10 Sprint Cup Series wins over the past two seasons, will also be making multiple appearances at PIR during the SUBWAY Fresh Fit 500™ weekend. The younger Busch will participate in a Fan Forum in the Budweiser ROLL-BAR and will also make an appearance in PIR’s luxury lounge, Octane. Days and times for Kyle Busch’s appearances will be posted on www.phoenixraceway.com. Kurt Busch will help launch MRN at Full SPEED, a question-and-answer fan forum to be conducted prior to the start of each NASCAR Sprint Cup Series event at ISC-owned facilities throughout the year. Mike Bagley will moderate the MRN at Full SPEED event, which will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 18 on the SPEED stage. MRN at Full SPEED will also include other drivers and/or NASCAR personalities, to be announced. West Coast fan favorite Robby Gordon will make multiple appearances throughout the event weekend. Gordon will visit Octane during the Bashas’ Supermarkets 200 - at approximately 7 p.m. - on Friday, April 17. On Saturday, April 18, Gordon will visit with fans in Trackside Club at 2 p.m. Located just 50 feet away from the track and overlooking PIR’s backstretch, Trackside Club delivers unmatched views of the racing action, and a breathtaking look at the scenery of the surrounding desert from the outdoor terrace.
