SUBWAY FRESH FIT 500™ TICKETS ON SALE NOV. 1
Beginning next Tuesday, November 1 race fans can purchase tickets to the SUBWAY Fresh Fit 500™ at Phoenix International Raceway – NASCAR’s second stop of the 2012 season following the Daytona 500. The SUBWAY Fresh Fit 500™ weekend – which kicks off PIR’s 2012 NASCAR season – will feature a new date of March 2-4. Fans may purchase tickets by calling 866-408 RACE, logging on to PhoenixRaceway.com or visiting the PIR box office at 125 S. Avondale Blvd. in Avondale, Ariz.
This summer, NASCAR announced the 2012 schedule will move back one week – shifting the Daytona 500 to Sunday, February 26 and the SUBWAY Fresh Fit 500™ to Sunday, March 4. The SUBWAY Fresh Fit 500™ anchors a full weekend of NASCAR action at PIR, featuring races in NASCAR’s two top series. The SUBWAY Fresh Fit 500™ NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race will take place Sunday, March 4. The event weekend will also feature the Bashas’ Supermarkets 200 NASCAR Nationwide Series race on Saturday, March 3.
Value pricing is back – fans can receive extra savings by purchasing tickets for the 2012 SUBWAY Fresh Fit 500™ early. The value pricing period takes place November 1 through December 31, 2011. Regular pricing will begin on Jan. 1 and runs through to the start of the March event weekend.
Also making a return is the GO Value Package. GO 2 Days to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series SUBWAY Fresh Fit 500™ and NASCAR Nationwide Series Bashas’ Supermarkets 200 races and pay only $40.

Phoenix International Raceway will officially be renamed Jeff Gordon Raceway on Nov. 15, 2015 for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Quicken Loans Race for Heroes 500, PIR President Bryan R. Sperber announced today. The race is the semifinal race for the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup and will be Gordon’s last Sprint Cup Series race at the track as a full-time competitor.

Kevin Harvick did something Sunday that no driver had ever done in the 52-year history of Phoenix International Raceway. The 39-year-old from Bakersfield, Calif. scored a victory in his fourth consecutive race in the same professional series at the legendary one-mile oval in the Arizona desert, leading 224 of 312 laps to win the CampingWorld.com 500.
Daytona 500 winner Joey Logano put on a dominating display at Phoenix International Raceway in Saturday’s AXALTA Faster. Tougher. Brighter 200, the fourth race of 2015 in the NASCAR XFINITY series.
Ruben Pardo earned his first NASCAR Mexico Series win at Phoenix International Raceway in the Toyota 120 on Friday. After starting on the pole, Pardo fell as low as 12th but fought back to the front in the late stages.
