BOWYER AND HARVICK HEADLINE ALL-STAR CAST OF CELEBRITY APPEARANCES THROUGHOUT PIR’S SUBWAY FRESH FIT 500™ WEEKEND

PHOENIX — Racing fans will be treated to a star-studded lineup of NASCAR drivers and celebrity guests making special appearances throughout the SUBWAY Fresh Fit 500™ race weekend, Saturday and Sunday, March 3-4 at Phoenix International Raceway. NASCAR superstars Clint Bowyer and Kevin Harvick headline the list of drivers and VIPs who will makes special appearances at the track.

Drivers will talk about what to expect during the weekend’s race action, their forecasts for the 2012 NASCAR season and discuss their own personal stories.  Other celebrities participating in the weekend’s race festivities will also be on hand to meet fans and discuss their passion for racing.

    As part of the Phoenix Raceway Project Powered by DC Solar, Phoenix Raceway President Bryan R. Sperber announced today that the new, luxury suite experience Curve will be unveiled during the Can-Am 500 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series semifinal race weekend on Nov. 10-12. Curve is the first element of the modernization project that will be available to fans.

    UNDEFEATED MIXED MARTIAL ARTIST JUSTIN GAETHJE TO SERVE AS HONORARY PACE CAR DRIVER FOR CAN-AM 500

    Arizona native, five-time World Series of Fighting Champion and current UFC lightweight Justin “The Highlight” Gaethje will lead the field to the green flag behind the wheel of the Official 2017 Toyota Camry Pace Car at the start of the Can-Am 500 at Phoenix Raceway on Sunday, Nov. 12. As the honorary pace car driver, the 28-year old mixed martial artist will lead the warm up lap around the one-mile oval.
