Cale Conley Captures Pole for Casino Arizona 50

Cale Conley captured pole position for Saturday night’s Casino Arizona 50 K&N Pro Series West race at Phoenix International Raceway. Conley, from Vienna, West Virginia, topped the 35-car field with a speed of 131.363 mph and a lap time of 27.405.

Michael Self, who currently ranks sixth in points (493), finished second with a speed of 131.047 mph (27.471). Derek Thorn, who currently ranks third with 551 points, qualified third with a speed of 130.966 mph. Points leader Dylan Kwasniewski, who entered the weekend with a two-point lead (580) over Greg Pursley (578), qualified fourth with a speed of 130.842. Pursley qualified 11th with a speed of 128.466 mph.

Other top qualifiers included Brett Thompson, who finished fifth with a speed of 130.218 mph, Bryan Ortiz (6th, 129.983), Chase Elliott (7th, 129.269), Johnny Borneman (8th, 129.213), Cameron Hayley (9th, 129.162) and Ben Kennedy (10th, 129.023).
