Phoenix Raceway President Bryan R. Sperber announced today the dates for the 2018 NASCAR schedule for all three touring series, including the return of two race weekends on the one mile oval.

The 2018 season will kick off on Sunday, March 11 when the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series races at its first short track of the season at Phoenix Raceway, while the DC Solar 200 NASCAR XFINITY Series race will run on Saturday, March 10.

The semifinal race in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs returns in the fall as the final four contenders will be solidified at the conclusion of the Can-Am 500 on Sunday, Nov. 11. With the thrilling format of the playoffs adopted by the other two touring series, the Ticket Galaxy 200 will also determine the championship drivers in the NASCAR XFINITY Series on Saturday, Nov. 10. The weekend will officially kick off with the Lucas Oil 150 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race under the lights on Friday, Nov. 9.

November 2018 will be monumental in the track’s history as Phoenix will welcome fans, media and the entire industry to the grand opening weekend of the New Phoenix Raceway.

“We’re proud to have two of the most important races on the NASCAR schedule,” said Sperber. “The fourth race of the year and the semifinal in the series championship are always a thrill for our fans and we’re excited for what’s to come in 2018 for Phoenix Raceway.”

Tickets for the upcoming Can-Am 500 race weekend on Nov. 10-12 will go on sale beginning June 2 and start at just $35. 2018 season tickets will be available during the November race weekend beginning at $99. Individual and season tickets are available online, by phone at 1-866-408-RACE (7223) or in person at the Phoenix Raceway ticket office.
