This March, Tough Mudder, Inc. will bring a different kind of race to Phoenix Raceway, dropping obstacles and mud where race cars normally reign supreme.

The world’s leading obstacle course racing organization announced today that they will bring Tough Mudder Arizona to Phoenix Raceway on March 24-25, 2018, featuring 10 of the toughest miles on the planet with more than 20 world-class obstacles spread across the all-terrain Raceway property to test both the physical and mental strength of competitors.

“Having a prestigious athletic event like Tough Mudder at our venue showcases the fact that the new Phoenix Raceway is a versatile facility that can host a wide range of events,” said Phoenix Raceway President Bryan R. Sperber. “I look forward to seeing Tough Mudder transform our facility into an obstacle course that’s as challenging and exhilarating as our auto races.”

In addition to experiencing Tough Mudder Arizona at Phoenix Raceway, participants and spectators will have an opportunity to preview progress of the Phoenix Raceway Project Powered by DC Solar, which will create a world-class facility.

“Phoenix Raceway provides us the perfect opportunity to create a unique course that will challenge our Mudders to take their training and teamwork to the next level,” said Will Dean, Co-Founder and CEO of Tough Mudder, Inc. “We’re excited to partner with Phoenix to bring one epic, creative experience to Arizona.”

With challenging obstacles in a brand-new location, Mudders are sure to encounter their fair share of trials, but through teamwork and dedication competitors will prove their strength and resiliency. Participants have the option to compete in either a Tough Mudder Half consisting of five muddy miles and 13 obstacles, or try their hand at the Tough Mudder Full.

The event will be held on March 24-25, 2018. To register a team for a full or half Tough Mudder please visit:  https://toughmudder.com/events/2018-arizona-half or https://toughmudder.com/events/2018-arizona.
