    SERVICEMASTER CLEAN RECOGNIZES NAVY VET

    A local veteran was honored this past weekend for his dedication and service both on and off the track at the ServiceMaster 200 at Phoenix International Raceway (PIR). ServiceMaster Clean presented Steve Lohn, a PIR employee who previously served in the Navy, with the ServiceMaster Clean Extra Mile Award for his work at the raceway.

    Gaulding Wins First Race At PIR

    In the final laps of the Casino Arizona 50 at Phoenix International Raceway on Saturday night, Gray Gaulding closed in on runaway leader Cole Custer. With only a single turn to go before the drop of the checkered flag, Gaulding tapped the back of Custer and spun out the leader.

    KYLE BUSCH DOMINATES SERVICE MASTER 200

    The Service Master 200 NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Phoenix International Raceway offered three distinct sections on Saturday afternoon. In dominating the first and third of those legs, Kyle Busch completed a double sweep at P.IR this year. He grabbed both the pole and checkered flag in the March and November Nationwide events at the one-mile track.

    JONES YOUNGEST NASCAR TOURING SERIES WINNER

    Seventeen-year-old Erik Jones of Byron, Michigan, became the youngest-ever race winner of a NASCAR national touring series event when he piloted his truck to victory on Friday night at Phoenix International Raceway.
