    EARNHARDT JR. TO APPEAR AT ROLL-BAR

    NASCAR Sprint Cup Series star Dale Earnhardt Jr., driver of the No. 88 National Guard Chevrolet, is scheduled to appear at Phoenix International Raceway’s ROLL-BAR Club for a question-and-answer session with NASCAR fans before the Quicken Loans Race For Heroes 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race on Sunday, November 9.

    RESERVED RV LOT SOLD OUT; NEW LOTS ADDED

    Phoenix International Raceway President Bryan R. Sperber announced today that the Geico Gecko Flats Reserved RV camping lots at PIR have sold out more than two months prior to the race. Due to the extremely high demand for reserved camping locations, PIR will create additional reserved spaces in order to accommodate more fans.

    PVA & PIR TEAM UP TO HONOR VETERANS

    Phoenix International Raceway President Bryan R. Sperber announced today that Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) has joined the track’s family of partners. This Veterans Day, individuals purchasing tickets online or by phone will have the option to support severely disabled veterans and their families through the “$1, $3, or $5…Let Freedom Drive” donation campaign in honor of Veterans Day, November 11.

    2015 RACE DATES ANNOUNCED

    NASCAR released the 2015 Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) schedule today, and Phoenix International Raceway will once again host two NSCS race weekends next season. PIR’s spring event weekend, headlined by the Camping World 500, moves two weeks later, to March 12-15. In the fall, PIR will continue to host the final race in the Eliminator round of the Chase for the Sprint Cup with the Quicken Loans Race For Heroes 500 weekend November 5-8.

    LESA FRANCE KENNEDY HONORED

    On Saturday, August 23, 2014, the National Women’s History Museum (NWHM) and its Los Angeles Regional Council, will host a private brunch at 11:45 a.m. PT at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles – Women Making History – to honor the achievements of three notable women including Lesa France Kennedy, ISC CEO and NASCAR Board Member. The event will honor female philanthropists and activists who contribute to women’s history while creating awareness to advance NWHM’s mission and build a world-class museum in Washington, D.C.
