We are thrilled to announce an exciting promotion surrounding the Blue Jeans Go Green™ 200 presented by Cotton, The Fabric of Our Lives®, NASCAR Nationwide Series race on Saturday, March 1.
Cotton Incorporated and Phoenix International Raceway are asking race fans to clean out their closets and recycle any unwanted denim items (i.e. jeans, skirts, vests, jackets, shorts, etc.) for a great cause. Our goal is to keep old denim out of landfills and give it new life by converting it into natural cotton fiber insulation. All denim collected at Phoenix International Raceway will be recycled into UltraTouch™ Denim Insulation, and a portion of it will be given to Habitat for Humanity Central Arizona.
Collection areas will be located throughout the facility on race weekend and will be open according to each day’s race schedule. Check your ticket envelope for more information on drop-off locations or grab a PIR Pocket Guide when you get to the gates. Be the first to drop your jeans for a cause!
