Guests with any state issued disability plate or placard should follow these easy directions to the PIR accessible parking:
- Exit I-10 at Avondale Blvd. (Exit 131) and proceed south to PIR. Follow directional signs to the facility.
The individual to whom the plate or placard is issued must be present in the car with proper identification. PIR reserves the right to redirect vehicles that misuse the state-issued plate or placard to free/general parking. State and/or local police will be on property and checking for compliance. We are proud to provide accessible parking within close proximity to our gates that contain more accessible parking spaces than the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) requires. These spaces (except for a certain reserved portion as described below) are available on a first-come/first serve basis until the lot is full. For your convenience, once accessible parking spaces are full, follow signs and instructions of traffic control personnel to the next available free/general parking lot.
PIR's Park-N-Ride program runs from Ak-Chin Pavilion (Sunday on NASCAR Weekends only), located just two blocks north of I-10 on 83rd Avenue (Exit 135). Guests with any state issued disability plate or placard may utilize Park-N-Ride and parking fees will be waived. ADA accessible buses are available. The individual to whom the plate or placard is issued must be present in the car with proper identification.

Golf Cart Transportation Assistance
In order to transport guests with disabilities around the track, we have instituted a transport system, complimentary to our guests with disabilities. Specially designated golf carts will be available for transport of guests with disabilities and one companion. Golf carts will be assigned dedicated routes and pick-up locations.
In the morning hours, carts will be available at the accessible parking areas. Following the race, carts will be located at all ticketed gates with the exception of Gate 3 to transport guests back to the accessible parking lots. A cart will also be available at Gate 8 to transport guests with disabilities through the infield tunnel.
Please be advised that during peak volume periods immediately before and after the race, some delays may be experienced as we work to accommodate all of our guests safely. This service is free of charge, and tipping of the transport driver is not permitted.
Elevators in the Bobby Allison Grandstand are intended for guests with disabilities and suite guests only. If you need to use the elevator, simply let the attendant know and they will allow you access to the elevators.
Wheelchairs And Accessible Seating
We offer several options for guests requiring wheelchair-accessible seating. The Bobby Allison Grandstand offers upper and lower wheelchair-accessible spaces with companion seats. The A.J. Foyt Grandstand also incorporates wheelchair-accessible seating into sections P, Q, R, and S. A special wheelchair-accessible viewing area is also available at Turn 4.
Each purchase of a wheelchair-accessible space at PIR will be accompanied by a parking pass allowing parking in a designated area. Please be sure to consult the back of the pass for specific directions to the track to ensure efficient access to your parking area. A state-issued plate or placard also is required to park in the accessible parking lot.
Guests requiring additional assistance are encouraged to contact our office prior to their visit. For more information on any of Phoenix Raceway's accessibility options, please contact our office at (623) 463-5400. PIR’s track public address system is simulcast on 88.5 MHz FM. This can be tuned in with any standard FM radio/headset. Please note, service animals for guests with disabilities are welcome.
