Race fans can again show their appreciation for the many brave service personnel of the United States Armed Forces through the second annual Salute to Military Families program at Phoenix International Raceway. The program is designed to show appreciation for members of the military and their families in conjunction with the April 21 SUBWAY Fresh 500 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series race at PIR.

To thank the numerous members and families of the United States military, race fans are asked to show their support by sponsoring ticket packages for the SUBWAY Fresh 500. Each sponsorship will allow a military family to attend PIR not only to celebrate a fantastic night of racing in the desert, but also to be recognized for their great efforts in making the United States of America a beacon of strength and security.
