Bowyer's No. 07 Fastest in Afternoon

No. 07 Chevrolet edges Blaney's Toyota, Truex’s Chevrolet
Clint Bowyer posted the fastest time in Monday’s afternoon session of Sprint Cup Series testing, the second of five to be held this week at PIR. Bowyer ran just seven circuits to post his 27.645-second best lap (130.222 mph).
Here are the top five speeds from the afternoon session:
07A Clint Bowyer Chevrolet 27.645 seconds 130.222 mph
22A Dave Blaney Toyota 27.657 seconds 130.166 mph
1A Martin Truex Jr. Chevrolet 27.673 seconds 130.091 mph
2A Kurt Busch Dodge 27.673 seconds 130.091 mph
18A Kyle Busch Toyota 27.683 seconds 130.044 mph
J.J. Yeley’s Toyota was sixth in the afternoon session, followed by Roush Fenway Racing Ford teammates David Ragan and Greg Biffle. The last two Daytona 500 winners, Ryan Newman and Kevin Harvick, were ninth and tenth, respectively.
Juan Pablo Montoya was 11th, and morning session leader Paul Menard posted the 12th-fastest best lap of the afternoon run.
