ISM Raceway President Julie Giese will be on hand at Tucson Speedway this Saturday to give the command for drivers to start their engines prior to the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West Port of Tucson Twin 100s. The races will be the third and fourth events of the 2019 season for NASCAR’s top developmental series.
“I am honored to serve as Grand Marshal at Tucson Speedway this weekend,” said Giese. “I’m a big supporter of the K&N Pro Series West and enjoy watching the future stars of our sport compete at this level. Grassroots racing is important to all of us at ISM Raceway, and I look forward to seeing the series again when we host their championship race in November.”
For the second year in a row, Tucson Speedway will host twin 100-lap races for the series this Saturday, May 11. The first race will begin at 7:00 p.m. and the second is scheduled for 9:30 p.m.
The NASCAR K&N Pro Series West will return to Arizona when ISM Raceway hosts the 2019 championship race on Saturday, November 9. The event will be part of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Semifinal Weekend, featuring four races in three days.
