ISM Raceway’s president, Julie Giese, has been recognized as one of Arizona’s most influential women by AZ Business magazine. The honorees were selected for their impact on their organizations, the region’s business climate and in the community. The entire list of the 2019 class may be found here.
“I am honored to be recognized alongside so many amazing leaders and individuals that have accomplished so much in their respective fields in Arizona,” said Giese. “I’m proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish at ISM Raceway since I joined the team last year and I’m even more excited about what’s to come with the 2020 NASCAR Championship and years ahead.”
Giese was named the track’s president in October 2018 after previously serving as the Managing Director of Business Operations for International Speedway Corporation’s Design & Development where she worked tirelessly on the design and project management of ISM Raceway’s $178 million modernization project.
Giese and the other honorees will be recognized at an awards banquet in August and will be featured in the July/August issue of AZ Business magazine.
