ISM RACEWAY GEICO GECKO CAMPGROUND ACTIVITIES

The GEICO Campground at ISM Raceway is the place to be for NASCAR fans during the Bluegreen Vacations 500 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Semi-Final Weekend, November 8-10. Well-known for its exceptional camping experience, ISM Raceway will begin welcoming campers on Monday, November 4. As the on-track excitement approaches, so do all the happenings around the campground, beginning with Thursday’s “Share a Coke” event with ISM Raceway President Julie Giese as well as the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Hauler Parade.

“Our campers are some of our most loyal and longtime fans here at ISM Raceway,” said ISM Raceway President Julie Giese. “Personally greeting our first campers arriving on Monday morning with donuts and sharing laughs over some Cokes on Thursday are two of my favorite experiences during race week. The opportunity to connect one-on-one with our campers and feel the excitement in our expansive campground is something I’m very grateful to be a part of.”

Giese will get the party started on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. with the “Share a Coke” event adjacent to Zoomtown Market when campers can enjoy an ice cold Coca-Cola with one another and toast to an exciting Bluegreen Vacations 500 Weekend.

Following the “Share a Coke” event will be the much-anticipated Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Hauler Parade at 4:30 p.m. The Hauler Parade features the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series team haulers as they first arrive at ISM Raceway and make their way through the GEICO Campgrounds before entering the INfield and beginning to setup for an exciting weekend of semi-final action.

Leading the Hauler Parade will be ISM Raceway’s new Championship Cruiser driven by Giese. The Championship Cruiser will also be rolling throughout the GEICO Campgrounds Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, and fans that renew with the Championship Cruiser, or renew by visiting the Championship display in the midway, will receive a commemorative 2020 Championship drawstring bag in addition to locking in their seats for ISM Raceway’s first NASCAR Championship Weekend.

Also featured in the Hauler Parade will be the Arizona Military Vehicles Collectors Club in honor of Veterans Day. Featured vehicles will include a World War II Willys Jeep, a M925 5-Ton 6×6 Troop Carrier Transport Truck, M936 5-Ton Wrecker, 3/4-Ton Command Vehicle (CUCV) and a USMC Willys CJV35/U Jeep.

Zoomtown Market, located in the heart of the GEICO Campground will host a variety of lawn games Thursday through Saturday, beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday and 12:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Games include corn hole, ladder toss, Connect 4, Jenga and more. Additionally, Zoomtown Market will host the 2nd Annual Soul Beach Cruisers Pedal Party on Saturday from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. Campers of all ages are encouraged to bring their bicycles and parade together with music and lights around the outside of the ISM Raceway and throughout the campground.

The all-new Rudy’s Trackside will also host a variety of evening events for campers, including Camper Appreciation Night featuring a $5 barbecue sandwich special on Wednesday evening beginning at 5:00 p.m. Rudy’s Trackside will feature live music each night, Thursday through Saturday until 11 p.m. and will also host a corn hole tournament on Friday at 4:00 p.m. ahead of the Lucas Oil 150 NASCAR Gander Outdoors Trucks Series Semi-Final Race.
