2021 March NASCAR Weekend Update

To Our Fans

Thank you for being a loyal Phoenix Raceway fan. Due to the ongoing pandemic, we wanted to provide you with some important updates on the Spring NASCAR weekend. Our team continues to ensure your health and safety is of utmost priority, as we prepare and plan to implement procedures to safely host our guests in March.  

While things may look a little different at the track, we want you to know that we are as committed as ever to delivering an unmatched experience for our fans. However, we do recognize that many factors, including your ability to travel, may have recently been impacted by the pandemic. We want you to understand your options, as you make decisions related to attending the 2021 Spring NASCAR weekend. Please carefully read your options below based on your specific March NASCAR weekend experience and review the seating and camping protocols that will be in place as well.

  • Race weekend safety measures will include limited venue capacity to allow for socially distanced seating. As a result, your grandstand seat will be relocated. Our team we will work diligently to find you a seat location as close to your original purchase as possible. 

    Fans will be required to follow event protocols, such as temperature screenings and utilizing face masks. All admission tickets will be delivered via Tickets @ Home. This provides fans the flexibility to display tickets on their mobile devices for non-contact entry at the gates or the ability to print tickets at home from a computer and printer.     Additional communication outlining specific event details, new seat assignments, and health and safety measures will be sent in advance of the event. 

    All opt-out requests had to be submitted by January 8, 2021. Opt out request for this event are now closed.

  • In order to accommodate safety protocols and procedures required to safely host fans in March, camping protocols are being put in place. As a result, parties will be limited to six people per campsite, and all RVs must be self-contained, as shower facilities will be closed.

    Fans will be required to follow event protocols, such as temperature screenings and utilizing face masks. All admission tickets will be delivered via Tickets @ Home. This provides fans the flexibility to display tickets on their mobile devices for non-contact entry at the gates or the ability to print tickets at home from a computer and printer.   • INFIELD EXPERIENCE PASS UPDATE:

    In order to accommodate safety protocols and procedures required to safely host fans in March, the INfield Experience Pass will not be available due to restricted access to the drivers and garages and our inability to deliver the immersive experience that the INfield Experience is known for under the restricted access.

    We will place a credit for your INfield Experience purchase on to your Phoenix Raceway ticket account. Also, we will put an additional 20% credit on your Phoenix Raceway account as well. No action is needed to receive the credit.

    Fans will be required to follow event protocols, such as temperature screenings and utilizing face masks. All admission tickets will be delivered via Tickets @ Home. This provides fans the flexibility to display tickets on their mobile devices for non-contact entry at the gates or the ability to print tickets at home from a computer and printer.   • CURVE PASS UPDATE:

    • The INfield Experience will not be available. Due to restricted access to the drivers and garages and our inability to provide the immersive experience that the INfield Experience is known for, we will not be able to deliver the INfield Experience.
    • Since we are unable to provide the INfield Experience access, your Curve price has been lowered and a credit will be placed on your account for the difference (Premium adjusted price now = $1600/ Regular adjusted price now = $999).
    • Our team will place a credit on your account for the difference. This credit can be used at any NASCAR event at a NASCAR-owned track in 2021 or 2022, subject to availability.

    Fans will be required to follow event protocols, such as temperature screenings and utilizing face masks. All admission tickets will be delivered via Tickets @ Home. This provides fans the flexibility to display tickets on their mobile devices for non-contact entry at the gates or the ability to print tickets at home from a computer and printer.   • LEGENDS UPDATE:

    In order to accommodate safety protocols and procedures required to safely host fans in March, we have a few updates to share related to your Legends Pass.

    • Safety measures will include limited venue capacity to allow for socially distanced seating. As a result, your grandstand seat will be relocated.
    • Our team will work diligently to find you a seat location, as close to your original purchase as possible.
    • The INfield Experience will not be available. Due to restricted access to the drivers and garages and our inability to provide the immersive experience that the INfield Experience is known for, we will not be able to deliver the INfield Experience.
    • Since we are unable to provide the INfield Experience access, your Legends price has been lowered and a credit will be placed on your account for the difference (Adjusted price now = $149).
    • Our team will place a credit on your account for the difference. This credit can be used at any NASCAR event, at a NASCAR-owned track in 2021 or 2022, subject to availability.

  • Hillside pods that will be socially distanced, limited to four people per pod. Hillside seating will be available on a first come, first serve basis and all guests can bring chairs, tents and coolers, as normal. Our Hillside guests will also need to enter from the South gate.

FAQs

WHAT EXPERIENCES ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR THE 2021 SPRING NASCAR WEEKEND?

The INfield Experience Pass will not be available. Fans that had purchased this will receive a credit for the pass. For more detail, please click here.

IF I PURCHASED AN EXPERIENCE THAT IS NOT AVAILABLE, WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS?

Customers who purchased an experience that is unavailable will receive a credit on their account for their cancelled experience purchase, plus an additional 20%.

WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS IF I'M NOT SELECTED FOR GRANDSTAND TICKETS?

All fans whom we are unable to reseat will have their accounts automatically credited. You may use that credit towards the 2022 Spring NASCAR Weekend at Phoenix Raceway or the 2021 NASCAR Championship Race Weekend at Phoenix Raceway. We are exploring alternative viewing options and if available, we will share this information with displaced guests. You can sign up to be notified when other options are available here.

WHAT IF I WANT TO GO AHEAD AND OPT OUT NOW?

WHAT ABOUT INFIELD ACCESS?

The INfield Experience Pass will not be available. Fans that had purchased an INfield Experience Pass will receive a credit for the pass purchase. Please click here for more information. 

WHAT ABOUT TENT CAMPING AND GLAMPING?

Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer tent camping or glamping during the 2021 Spring NASCAR weekend. Our team will automatically roll over your 2021 tent camping purchase to the 2022 Spring NASCAR Weekend. We will also place an additional 20% of the tent camping purchase onto your Phoenix Raceway account to help make up for the canceled experience. The credit can be used towards other items on your 2022 renewal order. 

WHAT ABOUT SCANNERS?

Scanners will be available to customers who reserve them prior to the event weekend. When you arrive on site, you can show your purchase confirmation barcode to obtain your scanner. FANS MUST RESERVE BEFORE THE WEEKEND. SCANNERS WILL NOT BE AVAILABE FOR PURCHASE AT THE TRACK DURING RACE WEEKEND. To reserve a scanner, please go here.

WHY DID I RECEIVE AN EMAIL ABOUT MY OPTIONS FOR 2021 SPRING NASCAR WEEKEND?

We recognize that your ability to travel and other factors has been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. As we prepare for the Spring NASCAR Weekend in March with limited capacity, we want our loyal ticket holders to understand your options as they begin to make decisions about attending the event. 

DOES OPT-OUT ONLY APPLY TO THE SPRING NASCAR CUP SERIES OR IS IT THE WHOLE WEEKEND?

Your choice to opt-out applies to any orders for 2021 Spring NASCAR Weekend, March 12-14.  

WILL CAMPING STILL BE AVAILABLE?

Yes, at this time camping will still be available. To ensure we can safely host campers, camping protocols are being put in place. As a result, parties will be limited to six people per campsite. All RVs must be self-contained, as shower facilities will be closed. As more details are confirmed, we will be sure to share with our campers.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO GET AN EVENT CREDIT TOWARDS FOR MY PURCHASE?

We are offering ticket holders who voluntarily opt-out of their 2021 tickets a 100% credit which will apply their purchases to the same event in 2022. To receive the event credit, please complete the form located at phoenixraceway.com/update.

CAN I GET AN EVENT CREDIT FOR MY CAMPSITE AS WELL?

Experiences that are unavailable and included on your 2021 Spring NASCAR Weekend order, March 12-14, are eligible for an event credit.

AT WHAT OTHER TRACKS CAN I USE THE EVENT CREDIT?

Customers can use their event credit at a future event at Phoenix Raceway or a NASCAR event at a NASCAR-owned track in 2021 or 2022. If you’d like to use your credit at another track, please call 866-408-7223

I BOUGHT TICKETS THROUGH ANOTHER SOURCE, CAN I STILL GET AN EVENT CREDIT?

Any event credits will only be made to the ticket holder on file with Phoenix Raceway. If tickets were purchased through a third party, please contact them directly for information on their refund policy. 

SOME MEMBERS OF OUR GROUP PLAN TO ATTEND, BUT SOME OF US CAN'T. SHOULD WE FILL OUT THE OPT-OUT FORM?

For partial opt-outs and credit policies, please call us at 866-408-7223. All opt-out requests had to be submitted by January 8, 2021. Opt out request for this event are now closed.

WILL OPTING OUT IMPACT MY RENEWAL RIGHTS?

No, fans who choose to opt-out of the 2021 race will retain all renewal rights for their same seats and campsites and may use their 100% credit towards their 2022 renewal.
