JUNIOR RACER PROGRAM
The Phoenix Raceway Junior Racer Program recognizes young athletes across Arizona who demonstrate a passion for racing, outstanding sportsmanship, strong character, and a commitment to their communities. Each month, one deserving racer will be honored as the Phoenix Raceway Junior Racer of the Month, celebrating the future of motorsports both on and off the track.
Whether they're racing a kart, quarter midget, BMX bike, motocross bike, skateboard, roller skates, or another wheeled sport, we're looking for young competitors who embody the values that make racing great.

Who Can Apply?

Who Can Apply?
- Be between 8 and 16 years old
- Be an Arizona resident
- Actively participate in a youth wheeled sport, including karting, quarter
- midgets, BMX, motocross, skateboarding, roller skating, or another organized wheeled sport.

Submit either a 1–3 minute video or a 250–500 word essay answering:
1. How did racing become part of your life, and why is it important to you?
2. What are your future racing goals, and what inspires you to keep chasing
those dreams?
3. Why should you be selected as the Phoenix Raceway Junior Racer of the
Month?
HOW WINNERS ARE SELECTED
Phoenix Raceway staff will review all eligible submissions and identify three finalists. A selection committee will then select the monthly winner.

Monthly Submission Schedule
Applications are accepted every month. All entries submitted before the 15th of each month will be considered for the following month. Once submitted, entries remain eligible for selection for the remainder of the current calendar year. Entries submitted in 2026 will continue to be eligible in 2027.
